Arriving by Train
from Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Main Station):
S5, S7, S75 or S9, Station: Zoologischer Garten (ZOO)
Underground U9, Station: Rathaus Steglitz (last station of the U9)
Bus X83, Station: Museen Dahlem (ca. 4-5 stops from Rathaus Steglitz)

Arriving by Airplane
Berlin’s two airports Tegel (TXL) and Schönefeld (SXF) are connected to many major cities in Europe and to world-wide destinations via Germany’s air traffic hubs Frankfurt and Munich.
From Tegel (TXL):
By taxi: A taxi ride from Tegel airport to Berlin-Dahlem takes about 20 minutes and costs approximately 30 Euros.
By public transport: A ride to the conference venue (subway station “Dahlem-Dorf”) by bus and subway takes about 35 minutes and costs 2.30 Euros (zone AB).
The bus station is located at the entrance to the main hall (terminals A and B).

You need to buy a ticket for zones AB at one of the ticket machines available at the bus station or directly from the bus driver. Do not forget to stamp your ticket using the yellow ticket validation machine.
From Schönefeld (SXF):
By taxi: A taxi ride from Schönefeld airport to Berlin-Dahlem takes 30 minutes and costs approximately 40 Euros.
By train: Berlin Schönefeld Airport is connected to Berlin’s regional railway system. A ride to the conference venue takes 45 minutes and costs 3.00 Euros (zone ABC).
Please note that until further progress of the new airport infrastructure, the S-Bahn station remains in 10 minutes walking distance from the arrival hall.
